Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming various aspects of society, ranging from healthcare to education, and from finance to transportation. While AI has enormous potential to bring benefits to society, it also poses risks such as biases, discrimination, and privacy violations. Governments around the world are increasingly recognizing the need for regulation to promote responsible AI development and deployment.

This research project aims to analyze different regulatory frameworks for AI and their impact on promoting responsible AI. The study focuses on the regulations established by different countries and international organizations, such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and China's New Generation AI Development Plan.

The project employs a comparative analysis of regulatory frameworks and explores their strengths and weaknesses in promoting responsible AI development and deployment. It also examines the impact of regulation on AI innovation and investment, as well as its implications for AI developers, users, and society as a whole.

The research project uses a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative interviews with stakeholders from different sectors, surveys, and case studies.
